History
Dating back to the summer of 1932 and the legendary Gus Lussi, skaters during their stay in Lake Placid would put on a performance under the spotlights in the 1932 Rink – Jack Shea Arena for audiences of tourists, local community members, and other skaters with their parents.
In the past the Summer Ice Show included nationally and internationally ranked guest skaters. Some of our guest skaters have included Ryan Bradley, Rachael Flatt, Sarah Hughes, ice dancers Meryl Davis and Charlie White, and pairs skaters Amanda Evora & Mark Ladwig.
