Etiquette

Punctuality and Arrival
- Arrive early to get good seats, enjoy pre-show entertainment, and settle in before the show starts
- Be on time — latecomers can disrupt the flow and miss key jokes
- If there are multiple acts, arriving early lets you see the full lineup
Seating and Space
- Follow staff seating instructions; don’t move chairs or block views
- Arrive before the show to avoid being the butt of a latecomer joke
Phone and Noise Discipline
- Silence your phone before the show; no calls, texts, or social media checks during performance
- Keep conversations quiet and brief (under 30 seconds)
- Turn off Bluetooth headsets; the light is distracting
- No flash photography or recording — it’s against copyright and disrupts the show
Audience Behavior
- Don’t heckle or interrupt — even if you think you’re helping, it derails the show
- Be mindful of sensitive topics; react thoughtfully, and let your response be after the show if needed
Respect and Mindfulness
- Don’t try to “steal the spotlight” — you’re not the comedian
- Keep your behavior respectful; heckling or inappropriate comments can ruin the night for everyone
- Support local comedy and familiarize yourself with venue-specific rules (e.g., dress code, drink policy
- No outside food & beverage
- Proper ID required (often 21+)
