Overview

Adirondack Speed Skating Club is a non-profit club dedicated to all things Speed Skating. They are a direct member of U.S. Speed Skating, and their main goal is to promote, support and enjoy the sport of Long and Short Track Speed Skating by offering nationally certified coaching, world class facilities and a family friendly atmosphere. Speed Skating is a sport for the beginner to the world class Olympic athlete. Their program has over 200 years of speedskating experience with long time certified coaches and officials to make sure everyone will experience the best that our sport has to offer.

The Adirondack Speed Skating Club is hosting the following events, open to spectators on the James C. Sheffield Speed Skating Oval for the 2023-2024 Season:

  • December 16-17, 2023 – ADK Sprint Champ from 7:30am to 12:00pm
  • December 23-24, 2023 – Camp Time Trials from 8:30am to 9:30am
  • January 20-21, 2024  – All Around Championship from 7:30am to 12:00pm
  • February 2-3, 2023 – Participation in the EMPIRE STATE WINTER GAMES for Long Track Speed Skating on the Oval
    • 3:oopm – 9:30pm | Feb 2
    • 8:00am – 12:00pm | Feb 3
  • February 3-4, 2023 – Participation in the EMPIRE STATE WINTER GAMES for Short Track Speed Skating in the 1932 Rink
    • 3:oopm – 9:30pm | Feb 3
    • 8:00am – 12:00pm | Feb 4
  • March 2-3, 2024 – ADK Single Distance Championship from 8:30am to 12:00pm
