Overview
As an Olympic Legacy City, Lake Placid will be celebrating the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games with numerous special activities and events throughout the Olympic Region (July 26 – August 11). On Monday July 29th from 7 to 9 pm, the Olympic Authority will be hosting a community inline skating night at the James C. Sheffield Speed Skating Oval. Public viewing of competitions will be available inside the Olympic Center, and we encourage everyone to wear red, white, and blue to support and cheer for Team USA. Skating will be FREE to the community and rental gear will be available for $8 per person.
